Hi, I’m Daniel McKie a 23-year-old business student currently enrolled at The Open University Business School. Originally from the UK, I spent the first 17 years of my life immersed in British culture before jet-setting to Brunei in Southeast Asia, where I’ve lived for the past six years.
During my time in Brunei, I studied at Jerudong International School, which helped shape both my academic interests and global perspective. I’m passionate about football and Formula 1, two sports that fuel my competitive spirit and love for strategy. My academic focus lies in quality management and marketing, where I enjoy exploring how brands build trust and deliver excellence.
Professionally, I’ve developed a strong foundation in quality systems and standards. I’m a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, which has equipped me with the skills to assess and improve organizational quality management systems. I’m particularly interested in how ISO principles can be applied to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in dynamic business environments.
Whether I’m analyzing business trends, conducting audits, or cheering on my favorite teams, I bring energy, curiosity, and a drive to keep learning and growing.
